The disaster of the “New” Labour years has hit voters in Islington, as across the country, in many ways. Rising crime, rising joblessness, social breakdown, failing schools and, of course, colossal debt which will hang like a millstone around our necks for years. We can’t take any more of this punishment and we don’t have to.

There is a General Election coming and this is your chance to pass judgement on Labour and elect a Conservative MP and Government which will start clearing up the mess. We will spend as much on and get more from the NHS, get people back into work or training, free up police to tackle crime and revolutionise education.

I want to be part of that. I’m not a career politician. I have spent the last 22 years as a lawyer at the Bank of England and FSA working to protect investors and keep our financial system clean and efficient. Having decided it was time to get involved I have been campaigning for change in Islington North and across Britain.

Like David Cameron, I have the energy, commitment and desire to help put Islington and this country right. Please give us the chance to try by voting Conservative in the next election.

Bullet point pledges

  • I will fight to protect vital local amenities like the Sobell Centre and the A & E at the Whittington Hospital.
  • I will campaign for better services and better value for Council Tax payers.
  • I will work for a fairer deal for leaseholders and improved maintenance and security for Council tenants.
  • I will support the police in combating crime and antisocial behaviour.

Thank You!

Adrian would like to say a big thank you to all our supporters and volunteers who gave so much throughout our 2010 election campaign and of course to our the voters.

We have shown that support for the Conservatives is growing at an incredible pace within the area and at the next election we are confident we will see our candidate elected.

But for this to happen we still need YOUR help for everything from leaflet distribution to keeping us informed of problems in your area.
